This space is done for now. There is a couple detail items I want to add but I’ll get to it eventually. I need to finish some other bigger projects first.

Btw I love cooking on my new stove. Ever since I’ve been married, I’ve always had an electric stove. I knew I wanted to do gas in this house not only for looks but it’s so much better to cook with. I don’t know if I’ll ever want to get an electric stove again. Sure they are so much easier to clean but the gas stove cooks faster and more precise. Plus I feel like a legit chef when I cook on this 😆

Bath time! Who enjoys a nice soak from time to time? It makes a difference when you have a cute little set up as well. If you don’t have room for a little table or stool, you can get a tray for your tub.

The treads and railing is done. I actually really like staining. It’s a lot easier than to paint. Although I do like to paint too. It’s been a nice change up than doing all this painting around here. Don’t worry guys, it’s going to look great. It’s all part of the process. Which do you prefer? Painting or Staining? Or Neither 🤣

I’m so close with this fireplace. I just need to make the mantle. But other then that it’s turning out great. Originally, I planned for this to be white but as we started building and do more finishing work, I thought that pop of black would look great and compliment the black windows. There’s nothing is a great OG shiplap fireplace.

Garage Epoxy Floors are done and look pretty good. I’m actually pretty impressed with myself 😆 I’m not going to lie, it wasn’t hard at all. Anyone can literally do it. But it is a lot of work and takes a lot of steps to do. Would I do it again, you ask? Probably! Now that I know what to expect. It did save me half the cost by doing it myself as well. I learned something new. I saved some money. And now my garage looks pretty.

PS. You can ignore my tan lines from my sandals. I always have those. Shows you how much I wear my sandals year round 😂

Carpet got installed. You know what that means! When the carpet gets in, that means we are ready to move in.

I will say, I’m so glad I decided to go with something new and different for the carpet. I love it so much. I love the feel and looks of it. So comfy and soft.

Now that I got my shower tiles fixed, I can daydream about using this shower again. The shower we have currently, is like 4x4ft. It’s very tight. It’s going to be so nice to have a bench a sit in the shower with my own shower head. I can have the hottest shower and my husband can keep his lukewarm shower all to himself. Do you prefer hot, warm or cold showers?

Pardon our dust, but we got something amazing coming soon. If everything goes to plan 🤞🏼 we will complete this fireplace next week. We are so close with the wood work, caulk and fill. I’m hoping to get it painted next week. 🤞🏼 Luckily, we got a little help on it and sped things up. We are doing 45 degree corners on this and it takes a lot longer than it normally would.

I’m sure you will see a lot of this fireplace on my feed and stories in the near future. Stay tune and can’t wait to show you the finish look.

I’m definitely crushing it with all this painting. I painted the ceilings, the walls, the doors, the trim, accent walls. Next up, one of fireplaces, the kitchen island, the stairs, and more accent walls. Are you a fan of painting?

How easy are these @stakracks ? They were a game changer this time around. My last house, I sprayed my doors one side at a time and took a while to do. But these saved me so much time. Not only did I get my doors done faster but I got I more done at the house as well. I love how easy these are and anyone can use them. You can use them by yourself or with a buddy. You can use them on the floor or on a table. You can use them for one door or multiple doors at a time.

Countertops are in and they look amazing. I kept going back and forth between a ton of different looks and styles. I knew kind of what I wanted but honestly there are too many options to pick from. But last time I looked at countertop slabs, I kept going back to this beauty. Something about it just mesmerized me. I love it and I think I made the right call. I can’t wait to get Al the finishing details in the kitchen. I can see it now (in my head of course 😆)

Pantry cabinets are done. Assembling the drawers was really easy and didn’t take long at all. It’s a task anyone can learn to do.
