WITCH BREW HALLOWEEN PARTY
Where I share all my tips & tricks with you!
Halloween Party
I knew I wanted to throw a party soon after moving into the new house. I knew Halloween was going to come up soon and starting to plan a party. At first, I wanted to do a full blown party but I knew with all that I had going on and such I didn’t want to over-stress myself. So I decided to do a smaller scale party.
Having a girls luncheon party was perfect. I didn’t have to worry about feeding a ton of people. No kids running around. I remembered years ago, at a church event, they threw a “Witches Brew Night”. So I kind of based my party off of that night years ago but of course with my own twist on things.
To keep things simple and sweet, for food I planned on making some soups aka being the “brews” for the party. Making the soup the main dish for the party. Here is a list of the food and drink items I also served:
- Water
- Homemade Root Beer
- Rolls
- Cupcakes
- Apple Caramel Charcuterie Board
- Soups
I will say everything was a hit. The homemade root beer. The apple caramel fountain. The soup for sure. I kept everything within my kitchen area including the decorations. Considering I don’t have a dining table yet, a folding table doesn’t count, I used my kitchen island as my “table”. Here are the cupcake toppers I got for the cupcakes and the tulip liners.
As far as decorations go, I added a balloon garland with black and beige balloons over my kitchen pendants mixed with some cute paper stars and banner. I set the charger plates and plates, napkins, another set of napkins and these cute plastic cauldron mugs with the straws around the island. The tablescape I kept it simple with a black cheesecloth and glass bottles, that I painted black, with black candlesticks, cream faux pumpkins and mini black spiders.
The witch hats I got for my lady friends to wear while the party was going on. This was just an extra. A little way to dress up and make it fun.
